Volt
DC power accessories allow Respironics positive airway pressure
systems to operate from a vehicle 12 volt cigarette lighter
connection. This Shielded DC Cord DC Interface Module is required
for a battery operation; the DC accessory required depends
on the system used and/or the prescribed pressure delivered
by the system. To operate the systems from a 12 volt battery
cigarette lighter receptacle, this shielded DC Power Cord
must be used. When operating a Respironics system from a vehicle
12 volt battery, the battery should be recharged after every
eight (8) hours of system use. If the battery is allowed to
discharge too far, there may not be enough power remaining
to start the vehicle. The time required to fully recharge
the battery will vary.
Caution: DC Power Accessories are intended
for stationary use only. They are not to be used to make a
System mobile
